Indications :
Broxen is used as a mucolytic and expectorant, helping to dissolve mucus and respiratory secretions, facilitating their removal from the bronchi and trachea, and thereby making breathing easier.
It is also used in poultry during the treatment of chronic respiratory diseases, including bronchitis, pharyngitis, tracheitis, coryza, as well as pneumonia in young animals, bronchopneumonia, rhinitis, and in all conditions associated with productive (wet) cough.
Dosage and Administration :
Administer orally via drinking water.
- Poultry: 50 ml per 200 liters of drinking water for 3–5 days.
- Cattle, calves, and foals: 1–2 ml per 10 kg body weight daily for 3–5 days.
- Sheep and lambs: 0.2–0.4 ml per 10 kg body weight daily for 3–5 days.
