Pharmacological properties :

Ivermectin is a broad-spectrum antiparasitic that is effective against internal and external parasites in cattle, sheep, and camels.it is one of the substances of the avermectin family, characterized by high effectiveness and safety, as it affects the nervous system of parasites (worms and insects), causing their paralysis and elimination. It is well tolerated because it does not easily penetrate the central nervous system of these animals.
Rafoxanide: (halogenated salicylamide Group ) effective anthelmintic against flatworms (hepatoprotective) and some roundworms (roundworms/nematodes) and larval stages of the nose bot fly in sheep.
Its good absorption and slow excretion make it bind to the blood plasma for a long time and, therefore, acquire a prolonged (Half-Life) period, which leads to effectiveness and therapeutic effects against the immature stages of worms.
The method of its action is based on the fact that it is a  (Proton-ionophore compound, where the stalactites (cations) resulting from the chemical decomposition of the active substance penetrate the cell wall of the worms and then decouple the oxidative phosphorylation process inside the mitochondria of the worms, which leads to their death.
